一九七九年，香港伯特利中學的同工及校友們，為了效法及紀念當榮休的校長藍如溪博士及教務主任盛成皿女士，畢生事主、盡瘁教育的精神，特別成立「藍盛教育基金」，並向政府註冊為非牟利團體，以推展兩位前輩的宏願。
基金成立之初，蒙各校友及社會人士慷慨捐助，致使能夠以免息貸款資助清貧學生，使其出國深造繼續升學；又捐助獎學金獎勵成績優良的學生及贊助社會公益活動等。
此外，基金非常重視幼兒教育，於一九八六年向政府申請在沙田開辦「藍盛教育基金邊陳之娟幼兒園」，歷來深受家長歡迎，遂於九七年於荃灣開辦第二所幼兒園，名為「藍盛教育基金邊耀良幼兒園」，透過提供幼兒服務，協助外出工作之父母，代其照顧驗培育幼小兒童，讓兒童寓遊戲中學習，從小學習守紀律和合群的生活，並培養為一個良好公民的基礎。除此之外，我們更透過唱遊和故事，教導兒童認識督真理，使孩子自幼接受福音的種子。
展望未來，基金定當延續藍如溪博士及盛成皿女士對扶育社會楝樑的偉大精神，繼續為培育香港未來主人翁而努力，更希望能藉辦教育而將福音廣播，讓更多的人能得到主耶穌的大愛，求神賜福大家。
2022-2023 Annual Financial Report
In 1979, the staff and alumni of Bethel Middle School in Hong Kong, in order to imitate and commemorate the emeritus Dr. Alice Lan and the Dean of Academic Affairs Ms. Vera Shen, who dedicated their life to the work and devoted their life to education, established a special establishment. “Alice Lan & Vera Shen Education Fund Ltd ” and registered with the government as a non-profit organization to promote the vision of the two seniors. At the beginning of the establishment of the fund, generous donations from various alumni and social figures made it possible to subsidize poor students with interest-free loans, so that they could go abroad for further studies; they also donated scholarships to reward students with excellent grades and sponsored social welfare activities. In addition, the Fund attaches great importance to early childhood education. In 1986, it applied to the government to open the “Alice Lan & Vera Shen Education Fund Delia Pei Kindergarten” in Shatin. Then opened a second Kindergarten in Tsuen Wan in 1997, named “Alice Lan & Vera Shen Education Fund Gordon Pei Kindergarten”. Provide child care services, assist parents who go out to work, take care of and nurture young children on their behalf, let children learn through play, learn to live a disciplined and gregarious life from an early age, and cultivate the foundation of a good citizen. In addition, we also teach children the truth of Christ through singing, walking and stories, so that children can receive the seeds of the gospel from an early age. The fund will continue the great spirit of Dr. Alice Lan and Ms. Vera Shen in nurturing the social welfare, and continue to work hard to nurture the future masters of Hong Kong. It also hopes to broadcast the gospel through education, so that more people can with the great love of the Lord Jesus. May God bless you .
